Happy New Year!! 2006 saw a lot of changes in my family. It saw two marriages, two homes bought, and oh yes, a book published and 67 copies sold. (so far).
I have laughed a lot, been sad sometimes and been very happy at other times. I have grown another year older and watched as my grandbabies did also. They have made me laugh lots this past year. Laughing is good for the soul. My soul is happy. I have read about many births and deaths this year in my friends diaries. I have been happy with you, I have cried with some of you and I have made new friends this past year. Some of my buddies have fallen by the wayside and that makes me sad. I have worked hard at my job and worked at my marriage. Dont misunderstand. My marriage is wonderful, but thats because it is a constant work in progress. I think thats why our marriage is so good. We both work at it every day and never get so comfortable in it that we think its indestructible. It evolves just like anything else. I cant wait to see what will happen this year. I am not making any resolutions. I never keep them and it just sets me up for failure. For those of you that do, good luck. To all of you, I wish you a Happy New Years. Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne!
Chorus.-For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
Later, Cosmic
