Guess who had company today. Go ahead, guess. Okay, I will tell you. That would be me!! Guess who came to see me and Terry. Go ahead, guess! Okay, you give up? It would be,
Bluesleepy and her hubby Kurt! But wait! That's not all! Guess who else came to see us! Come on, try! Well, I will tell you. It was
Miss Grace and Miss Mary Ellen.
YAYYYYY!
There was much (much) talking, much, (much) laughing, and much, (much) dancing.
Yes, dancing! There was coffee consumed and homemade (by Bluesleepy) oatmeal raisen (YUMMM!) cookies. But did it stop there?? No, oh no, it did not! Just when I thought that this day could not get any better, no matter what, I found out that they did not just show up my door. They did not just wind up here because they were out riding around. Oh no they didn't. They came to bring me her...
Fancy Nancy! She is mine! All mine!!! I named her Fancy Nancy because she is a gift from BEANIE!!Man, was I feeling the love today. I have no idea what in the world I did to deserve this wonderful ficus tree from her or what else I must have done to have such wonderful people like her and the bluesleepy family in my life. I am so rich and so happy, I could burst!
Grace and Mary Ellen are too adorable for words. Grace fell right in love with Terry and had a blast dancing with him and sneaking over and making his chair stop. Then she would start to giggle and if you can listen to this child giggle and not get caught up in it, you are one cold, cold person is what I have to say about that. And Baby Mary Ellen? Her smile could melt icebergs.
Kurt and Karyl are such down to earth people that I felt I was with family as soon as they walked in. I knew they were coming around 12:00 but I had no clue about the Fica tree. You could have knocked me over with a feather. Did you see the size of that tree? Imagine that whole thing wrapped in Christmas paper! It was almost scarey! Haha. I wish you could all have been here and shared my day. It was perfect. No sooner did they leave when my son, Jeff and his g/f showed up. I only had about 4 hours warning that they were coming! I had a total of 6 people come to my house today! Wow!
This isn't a day I will soon forget. I love my tree, I love my cookies. Well, I DID love them. All gone.
My only regret is that I didn't have a feast to serve them. That's okay, spring will be here befor too long and that sounds like cookout! Catch you all later!
Later,
Cosmic
