Luncheon Special Guess who I spent lunch with and you didn�t. Guess! C�mon, just try. Ok, I�ll tell ya. I spent lunchtime with forty-plus and simplify!!! Neeneer, neener, neener!! Ok, This is the first time I met simplify, but I have been reading forty-plus for about 3 years. I knew her back in the day. Yup. I knew her when she was Little Miss InkDragon. Yup, we go way back. Ok, maybe not waaaay back, but you get the picture. She only lives about 20 minutes from me, but we have never gotten together until today. Do you think you know what she looks like? Do you mistakenly picture her with short dark hair and looking every bit 40-plus? Wrong. So very wrong. She is so very different than I pictured. First of all, she is beautiful inside and out. She is waaaaay to young to be 40. (I think she lies). She is a redhead. She is bubbly. She is warm. She hugged me! She actually hugged me! I loved it!! Ok, a little background. She was here to meet simplify and asked me to give her the name of a place to go for lunch. I horned in on them. Yup, I crashed a luncheon. Well, crashed is such a strong word. I really just stopped by to say hi and she knew I would be there. I took the afternoon off work and had some errands to run so by the time I got there it was 12:15. They had already ordered, so I just ordered a drink. We all chatted like long lost buddies. I felt very comfortable with them. Simplify is from California and I asked how she was dealing with this weather shock. She said it was like an adventure. She was going back to CA. Ya, I am really still trying to like her after that remark. Just kidding. She is very nice. I had a great time and hope to see more of Yvonne. She is a lady and I think someone I would be proud to call friend. Oh, By the way Yvonne, I owe you a drink. And I WILL pay you back. (Mumble-jumble, people that pick up the check, mumble mumble.)
