Just Stuff Some things are just too good not to share. Terry and I were watching Stargate SG1 tonight. For those of you show dont watch it, the bad guys are called Goaulds (pronounced gow-a-oold). Very similar to Egyptians, though they are aliens. When these bad guys get hurt, or killed in some cases, they are put into a Sarcophagus. There they are healed or brought back to life. Anyway, as I was saying, Terry and I were watching the show. At one point, the bad guy gets out of his chamber. I missed it, I guess. Me: "What happened?" Terry: "He got out of the esophagus." Me: "Does that mean he got out of the chamber, or crawled out of someones throat?" He flipped me the bird. Me thinks he is spending waaaay too much time at the Doctors for his acid reflux. Yes, I must be getting better. My sarcasm is doing just fine again. ***************** Remember the new snow thrower Terry bought me? Wow does that work fantastic! Cleaned the whole ramp, porch, top of the driveway AND halfway down the drive. It was so quick that I didnt even have to put my coat on. I didnt even have to leave the living room! All I had to do was convince my brother how much fun it was and he did it all! Just call me PT Barnum. Yes, Im better, but Im not always nice. ***************** Nothing on TV tonight. We love our L&O, Law and Order. We love our CSI, Crime Scene Investigations. We love our NCIS, National Criminal Intelligence Service . But with all the reruns, due to Superbowl, Olympics, etc, etc. Our vewing has become watching re-runs of re-runs. The letters are the same, but the names are not. We are now watching: L&O; Leftovers and Overdone CSI; Cant Stand It!! And NCIS; No Current Intellectual Stimulation. I love figuring out "Who done it. The problem is that if they dont start showing first runs again, Im going to be the next PERP taken from the Headlines!. Yes, I am better but I would say I watch too much TV. Note: I appreciate those of you who love watching the Olympics. I am just not one of them. ***************** I'm back to work tomorrow. Wish I were taking one more sick day. Oh well. | You scored as Idealist. Idealism centers around the belief that we are moving towards something greater. An odd mix of evolutionist and spiritualist, you see the divine within ourselves, waiting to emerge over time. Many religious traditions express how the divine spirit lost its identity, thus creating our world of turmoil, but in time it will find itself and all things will again become one.
