She lives. She lives!! Im alive. Just in case you were wondering. Thanks for asking, Yankeechick, I appreciate it. Bunch-O-Stuffs going on lately and I really was getting down in the dumps. Pity party of one, you are being served. So I just didnt post. First, Terry is going to have yet another procedure on the 14th. It is a day trip procedure but it isnt pleasant. He will be fine. It isnt cancer, thank God. Next, a couple of weeks ago, my body decided to go wacko on me. I developed the legs and ankles from hell. I got up and my feet looked like overstuffed sausages by mid morning. They actually got worse as the day went on. I like to help myself as much as possible before calling the doctor. I am also rethinking that now. I drank a ton of water for the rest of the day. The next day was more of the same with something new tossed into the mix. A cough. I dont mean a regular smokers cough type cough. I mean coughing spasms that didnt quit until I almost vomited cough. This went on for three or four days. My feet stayed swollen and I kept choking. 5 days ago I couldnt take it any more. I threw in the towel and called the doctor. He called in a prescription for me and made an appointment for this Wednesday. I took the first pill last Wednesday. I saw no difference. Thursday, the swelling didnt seem quite as bad. The cough didnt change. Friday was better with the cough and a little better still on the swelling. As of today, the cough is pretty much gone and the swelling has stopped. The miracle pill? The generic for of Lasix. A water pill. A freaking miracle water pill. It has even dropped my blood pressure, which wasnt high at 128/78 down to an even better 118/64. I am lovin this pill. Also, I get the added benefit of peeing frequently which can do nothing but help keep those little pesky kidney stones at bay. So all in all, I am a happier camper by far. I went back to work today. What a trip. I felt like I stepped into the twilight zone. It was as though I never left on one hand and like I didnt belong on the other. Very surreal. I couldnt wait for 3:30. I was exhausted. The funny thing is though, by the time I got home I got my second wind. I am slowly losing it now. It is a little past 9 and my bed is calling to me. I'll be spending the rest of the week catching up with all of you. I have been hitting sporadically to try to stay in the loop, but I'm way behind on some of you. I'll get there. Night all. Later, Cosmic
