Results are in! Results are back. No clots, no cancer. He doesnt know why the swelling. He now wants me to double the Lasix to 40 mg for the next three days. See how that does. I dont know. This is really getting frustrating. Im coming up with a hypothesis. (I said hypothesis and you didnt, neener.) Here goes. See if it makes sense of all of this to you. I had surgery Back on April 12th. I sat on a wooden chair (not my cushy executive office chair like I have at work) and did pretty much nothing for 7 weeks. My swelling started on the 5th week, along with that cough. I am thinking that this was just a curious chain of events. I sat so long on the wooden chair that I was continuously cutting off the circulation to my feet and legs. That would have eventually caused the swelling. Along with that was the lack of movement. Lack of movement slowed my breathing causing the cough from not having enough stimulation. Also, the lack of movement would have possibly lowered the oxygen levels in my blood, causing the difficulty breathing. I think it was everything combined. I think I just need more activity than I am getting now, but I still cant move too much without getting winded, so the oxygen is helping with that. Once the meds kick in again, I think I will be on the road to getting better. I am banking on that anyway. As always, thank you all for caring. It makes me feel very loved. Oh, and my anniversary present came today. A nice cushy executive chair for my computer. Bad wooden chair. Bad, bad chair. Later, Cosmic
