Group Help Needed Hi folks. I have very good friend. Some of you read her and some of you dont. Her name is Golfwidow. She gave me this button.
The reason she gave it to me is because I gave her a bit of cash. Well I gave it to her and her hubby. No, they arent eating out of trashcans. They arent bathing in the gas stations. They arent covering their bodies with secondhand w@lmart bags. Its far worse than that. They have to pay for Gas and food from Connecticut to Nevada! This would be so bad on the average person that says, Hey! I think we will give two weeks notice and sell what stuff we can sell and head out. No, it didnt happen quite like that. Instead, a few months back, that- man-of-hers lost his job. Then recently, the powers that be, (those would be the powers of GW) created a situation where many places had to downsize and guess what. Yup, Hers was one of them. So they sell their home and still are okay, not great. They have a bit of savings for emergency situations. Well hells bells, I think the fact that they still havent been able to leave, have still got to wait for stupid bank to finish paperwork, have exhausted their savings would constitute and emergency. Ya think? So anyway folks, for those that know her and didnt know all this was going on and to those of you who dont know her but are able to be generous, she is trying to come up with enough cash to eat and get them to Nevada. This isnt a pleasure trip. It isnt a vacation. It is survival. There a jobs waiting for them. If you click on the little kitty button above, it will take you to her site and you can read about it and just give her emotional support, or if the mood and the pocketbook strike, you can drop a few coins her way via her paypal button on her site. This is not a woman that asks for anything for herself. Her husband golfs every year to raise money for the Hanahoe Childrens Clinic. The Cyril & Mary Hanahoe Memorial Childrens Clinic provides outpatient medical care to children whose families have no health insurance & cannot afford medical care. That-man-of-hers raises money for this worthy charity and Golfwidow has always been there for me and for anyone else that needs her ever since I met her. So if it seems like I am begging for these guys, I guess I am. If you cant afford anything, a good luck comment will do. If you do want to donate, no amount is too small. And if you need to be paid back, they will as soon as they can. They are not saying exactly when because they dont know the time frame of getting there setting up and starting to receive paychecks. Anyway, if you can, thank you. If you cant, but would like to, thank you just as much. And if you do donate, she will send you the code for this neat little kitty button! Later, Cosmic
