from the start.

I'm thinking, I'm thinking

I found an interesting site today. Its right HERE. Part way down the page, click on the candidates profile then click on "issues." It has some very interesting quotes. Just click on any one issue and you can scroll to find a lot of statements on varied polocies. At least it gets some straight answers. I still havent decided, but Im leaning. Thats a start. I can tell you a few I wouldnt vote for.

1) I dont think I want to vote for Hillary Clinton. I dont have a real good reason but I have a bunch of little reasons that add up. Unfortunately, they are just feelings in my gut and its hard to put into words. I just dont trust her. I dont know why. I just dont.

2) I wont be voting for Barack Obama. Aside from not being very experienced, I do like many of his answers to the questions. I think he will go places now that his face is out there, but I dont see him as a president this time around. Besides, I don't like the idea of having a president that's name is so difficult to remember/pronounce.

3)Mike Huckabee. Come on folks. I cant even type his name without giggling. I cant help but want to ask, where is Tom Sawyer. Or, spread it on toast. Or watch it on Sesame Street. Im sorry, but a Presidential name shouldnt be cute. Huckabee is just too cute.

4)Rudy Giulini. Sorry. Cant even imagine it. Good mayor, I wont take that away from him, but a country is just a tad bigger than a city.

5) John McCain. Probably my next to the top choice. Just not the top.

6)Fred Thompson. Doesnt stand a chance. Why? Because every time he gets up to speak, everyone will say,

Aww hell, another Law and Order repeat. and leave the room.

Okay, Okay. Im thinking maybe John Edwards. Nice answers, nice name, nice face.
Of course, we can only vote in one primary so who we chose from these may be moot anyway.

One other thing. Since when has this country become so relaxed that we can call our leader by a nickname? When did that happen? Huh? Bill? Mike? Al? Okay, that would be James "Jimmy" Carter. I just don't think that is right. Something just a little too familiar about it. Imagine if they started that in England? Queen Lizzy? Yah, right.

Later,
Cosmic
