All sorts of stuff Okay, first with the doom and gloom and then with the fun stuff. Skip this part if you arent into gloom today. I went for my appointment on Tuesday. First of all, I found a rout that kept us off the highway, so that was good. Then we go almost there and got lost. Not good. We called the Dr.s office and were told that if we could make it in the next 15 minutes, he would see me. We did. It was only for a consultation. No test, no procedure. Lots of talking. Then lots more talking. This medicine is not a cure. I knew that already. What I didnt know was that it has only been tried in 5 people. It has helped 3 of the 5. It has never been used on a smoker. I would be sort of a test case at best. I asked if I could harm me and he said no. So, yes we are going ahead with it. But first, there are more tests to be done. I have to have a sleep study test. Then I have to have tests walking. I hate it. I dont know what to study! Anyway, the medicine part wont be for awhile. He talked about a lot of other stuff too, but suffice it to say, I am not healthy. I knew that too. He started talking about the technical part of this and I must say, it wasnt the most pleasant discussion I have ever had with a doctor. Oh well, one day at a time. Okay, enough with the gloomy stuff.
Son Jeff has been back up north for quite a while now. I dont know if I mentioned it or not, but the tat shop in Florida didnt work out. He invested too much money too quickly. He learned though. He learned a lot. He is now in New Hampshire. He has been slowly building up stock and supplies to open one there. I hope this works out for him. He has never had any formal art training. He has always (in my opinion) been talented. I saw it from the age of four. He has never, until now done anything on canvas but wanted a few pictures for the walls at the new place. I dont know the size of this one: But this one is 3foot by 6 foot: I think they are pretty good, but then again, Im a tad biased. Okay the next fun thing is the Pay it forward. I was allowed to do this by posting in Karmakat, aka windspirits diary. I have no idea what I am making yet, but it will be something neat.
Pay It Forward! I will send a handmade gift to the first three people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this Pay It Forward exchange. I dont know what that gift will be yet, and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is Pay It Forward by making the same promise on your blog.
So ask and you shall receive. The first three people will get something. No clue what it will be, but trust me (hehe, silly you) and you will get something. If you don't want to play, that's fine. Just wait til I have 3 comments before you leave yours.
Later, Cosmic
