Yes, folks, one week from today at 8:50 you will find me boarding the train in Westerly, RI with my luggage and buttons in tow waiting for the whistle of the train to leave for Washington, DC! I am too excited to even find the words. I will even be armed with the brand new cellphone.

I only work Monday through Wednesday next week. I will need a day to pack, unpack, repack, check what I packed, switch stuff that I packed and to finish packing. I know it's only two days, but I need an outfit for Friday night, one for Saturdy, one for Saturday night and one for Sunday. Plus, of course, I need to take munchies for the trip down and back, my buttons, my makeup and my audiobooks. I am also taking trancejen's chpabook for her to sign, bucause I am a hero whorshipper like that. She is such a cool kid!

jenne1017 is picking me up at the train station at 3:20pm. I was thinking the trip would be 8 hours, but it's only 6 1/2. That's doable. Can't wait to see everyone. THe list of people I read that are attending is growing. I am also goint to meet sunnflower from Suburban Island too! I am taking Mondy off too so I can talk Terry's ear off about how much fun I had and to load up all my pictures!

This week at work has been crazy. It was better than last week though. Last week, I was by myself on Monday, half of Thursday and Friday. This week, Jan is back, but Charl is still out and she called on Monday to tell us that it will be 4 more weeks! Well, as of today, it will be 3. So we have been picking up the slack of her recerts all week. Do I need a vacation? Damn straight, Skippy!

Well, have to hit the road. At least I have the weekend! You all have a great Friday the 13th!
