It's Ba-a-a-ack Before I state the reason I am updating today, I first have to sing some pretty high praises. My undying gratitude goes out today to Lulu and to Dixie Press. I sent an email to Dixie this morning telling them that I had made a huge error on my book. Though the error was huge, the fixing was not a huge problem for them but since they had done what I had hired them to do, I would have expected to pay them an additional fee. This error was all my fault. They had no idea there was an error. The cover with the different title was done at a different time. They had no way of knowing. Not only did they fix and upload it again, they never charged me any additional money. I assume they open around 8 or 9 and this was all done before 1:00. Thank you Melissa!! Moving along, I then went into chat with the folks at lulu and asked if I was going to have to pay for the Global Distribution again after the changes were made. Bless Greg�s pea-pickin heart! He told me to hold a sec. Hillary had not yet sent the approval through, so it stopped it dead in it�s tracks. The double goodness and fast actions from these two providers, (Lulu and Dixie) have saved me lots of money. I have only missed two days of sales. And I will not end up with egg on my face for putting out a copy that is less than perfect. If it seems strange that I know the first names of the people I have been dealing with, it isn�t. These are professionals that are not only in the book-making business, they are also in the people business. You couldn�t ask for nicer, more committed people. I have also dealt with others through chat help and emails. I can�t remember the other names. I have bugged so many! If you are looking for self publishing, or if you are looking for someone to format, create or design your cover or a multitude of other services for your book, CD, or calendar, I will just say that if you go anywhere else�.. I warned you. These people are phenomenal. That being said, I will leave you with this:
