Happy Thursday I read today that the three top people that seem most likely to become Barack Obama's running mate are Rep. Chet Edwards, whose district includes President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, Sens. Joe Biden of Delaware and Evan Bayh of Indiana. If he is smart, he will go with Edwards. My reasoning? How will this look on the banners?
Obama and Biden or
Obama and Bayh.
Sure sounds like a grass roots American ticket to me! Personally I'd stick with Edwards or Clinton. And before you tell me that there are others being considered, I know. They just didn't make my list because their names didn't sound as funny. My brother Ed stopped by today for a visit. Actually, he came to RI to see my brother Pete but is smart enough to realize that if he didn't stop by here, I'd kick his butt! We had a nice visit but since I didn't know he was coming, I didn't have any treats to serve or anything. He was fine with that. He and Pete had just come from the Chinese place up the street. It was a nice visit. I found out that I have been given the approval for my electric wheelchair. Thank God for insurance. My co-pay is only 20% but that's still right around $1,000. Ouch. Well, if you know Terry then you know that if I get a new computer, his is suddenly a POS til he gets a new one. Same for my car (Though he didn't get a new car because his is a 1995 and still looks new.) But now that I'm getting a new chair? He picked one out. This is what he will be riding around Walmart soon. * * * * * * * * * *
