Sometimes I receive an email that is just so uplifting it restores my faith in humanity or restores my faith in miracles. Today I received one that did both. It is the story of a dog that was born with two healthy back legs but only one deformed front leg. Doctors said that the leg would need to be amputated. The owner was going to have the dog put down but someone decided to take her and raise her. They aptly named her Faith.
After seeing some still photos, I went on a search (as I am want to do, neener) and lo and behold, Faith is on youtube!
To be so wonderful to take this dog into their home, not knowing what may come up later with health issues. To have no expectations from this dog except to expect her to be happy, how unselfish of these people. And the love in this dogs face is is so moving. I just love stories like this.
I started watching Barack Obamas speech the night of his campaign acceptance. I still havent gotten through it. I will support him. I think McCains announcement of his running mate blew a lot of people away.
I have never even heard of her. Where is her experience? What does she bring to the table? Those questions are rhetorical. I was mimicking the nay-sayers when Obama was nominated. Didnt the Republicans express those same concerns about him?
Tit for tat, I say.
Have you all voted for me? Sunshine said today that I was bossy about asking you to vote for me on her Celebrity Look-alike Contest I guess I wasnt bossy enough. Only 12 votes so far. 12. (Sniff) The top vote is for Sunshine herself and I have to say, she does look a lot like Bonnie Hunt, but I love you more than she does, so the rest of you can vote for me now, ok? I am tied for third place. At least help me get third! At least then I get bragging rights for something. So go! Now!! Ooops, there I go being bossy again. Sorry.
My Favorite new ad.
Isnt that adorable??? Of course, it is a New Zealand ad, so you won't be seeing it here.
