Storm Never Last, Do They, Baby THANK YOU VERY MUCH MS BLUESLEEPY! ENOUGH SNOW FOR YA???? See how long that driveway is? The two little things at the end are our mailboxes. It's about 300 feet. We still aren't plowed out. God forbid we need another ambulance. My neighbor's daughter was sweet enough to clean off the front porch. Then she went around to the ramp and shoveled out so we could open the door. We were baracaded. We got about 9 inches here in Westerly. Looking at Terry's car, it doesn't look it because his car and that side of the house get the wind. Trust me, I know 9 inches when I see it! (Neener, just for the hell of it) Aside from the second winter I lived here in 1995, this is the biggest snowstorm we have seen since I have been here. It IS beautiful, I have to admit. I hope is stays around until Christmas. I always said, I have three favorite snowstorms. The first one, one for Christmas, and the last one. I could do without the others. Of course, living in New England, I expect it. At least in RI, we don't get as much as we did when I lived in Maine. I can imagine how The flying rat is doing further up the coast. I won't link because I think she is still locked. Let me know, Jenn. We had the girls tonight. Lori came and dropped off the kids, skidded on the drive and ended on the lawn, stuck in the snow. An hour later and a call to AAA and she was out and on her way. It was a 45 minute trip to pick up the gorls suprise Christmas present. She had to get them today. The woman had 20 other people wanting them. She had found a woman on Craig's List that was giving away two ferrets. Lori had one years ago. She loved it. This lady gave her two albino ferrets with all the accessories they could need including a three floor house they live in. The cage is huge, acording to Lori. I guess they used to sleep with the woman's kids. I don't know why she is giving them away yet, but they are up to date on their shots, they are fixed and they are healthy. The girls are so happy they can't see straight. I am sure the ferrets will be spoiled rotten. Oh, they are housebroken too, so they do enjoy coming out and spending time. Well, time to hit the sack. It is midnight and I have to get in bed before I turn into a Republican. Later, Cosmic
