Hats Off! Ok now. I can get back to my normal mundane drivel. It know I should be grateful that my novel is done and submitted. The thing is, it has only started. The goal was to finish the novel by November 30, which by word count, I did. But this is only the beginning. Since it is only 125 pages or so, I now need to sit and add enough other parts to bring is up to an actual book. I know just a little cheap paperback has at least 250 pages or so. This means that for the contest, yes it is done, but for the publisher, it is only about half way there. Hopefully as time goes on, I can edit and hone and stretch it into a marketable story. I think I have a pretty good start. In a way I had it luckier that most. I didn't have to create characters, I grew up with them. I didn't have to make up any stories, I lived them. So just as a matter of point, my hat goes off to sixweasels and jenne1017 and all the others who are using much more imagination than I to get to their goal. I am not playing down my own accomplishment here. I am just giving credit where it is due. There is plenty enough to go around. So off to work I go. Tonight I can just relax and catch up on all my neglected diary reading. I can go and check out what was happening in those other lives while I was obviously having none of my own. Later... Later, Cosmic
