Evil Cookies, Just Plain Evil! I want to sue the Girl Scouts. Yup, You read that right. I have successfully avoided their stupid cookies for almost 8 years and yesterday they found me again. I hate them!!! They contain drugs, I swear. Why else would a grown 49 year old grandmother sit and eat a whole box of thin mints! And what, oh what would posess her to buy not one, but 3 boxes of the damn things? Drugs, it's got to be drugs. And remember when they went up to $.75 a box and everyone got so angry? Now they are up to $3.50! And it used to be that the little girls would knock on your door to buy them. Now the parents of these kids coral you at work on payday and force feed them to you. Wanna know why? Because it is easy to tell a little 10 year old that you don't want to buy them at that price. It isn't as easy telling Dad at 6' 2" wearing his Hell's Angels t-shirt and sweating all over your desk, that's why!! Ok, so he is only 5' 7" and is wearing a suit and tie. And he isn't sweating. Ok, ok he's an accountant for crying out loud! But accountants can be very scarey! And what is his daughter doing this whole time? She's probably home safe and sound on her computer while dad pimps the cookies to all of us overweight idiots that buy them. Life is indeed stranger than fiction. It's pouring rain here now. Yay! I don't have to shovel it. Let it rain! It is also a nice balmy 31 degrees. I don't even have to go start my car up this morning. Life can be so good sometimes. Just wait until tomorrow when I announce that I won the powerball. Yessa! I am going to win. Then I am going to buy me some more Girl Scout cookies and sit on the beach in Florida and eat them with some Pina Coladas. You just wait and see! It could happen. Well, it's time to get my butt in gear and go to my last day of work ever. I have to pack my lunch and my Girl Scout cookies! Later... Later,
