Sick!! ok, I know there are viruses that spread on the internet. Of course, everyone knows that, but since when can physical illness also be spread? As of now, I swear. And I got it from unclebob. That SOB! I went to work yesterday, feeling fine. I wasn't there a half hour when I started feeling that "off" feeling that tells you something is gong on. First of all, I sat doing my work and not sying a word. In my office, usually the first half hour or so is spent catching everyone up on anything that happened while someone was out. Well, Boss lady was out on Thursday and Jan and Charl were both out Thursday and Friday. A few of Jans appointments didn't get the message that their recertifications had been re-scheduled, so I did them. Therefore there was a lot of "catching up" to be done. I just sat and worked and answered any questions that came my way. Other than that, I didn't say a word. It took me about 45 minutes to realize I felt like ca-ca. Finally after an hour, boss lady asks me if I have a headache or something. At that moment, I realized how lousey I felt. She said I looked horrible and Janet agreed with her. I felt spacey, warm and my throat was getting scratchy. Boss Lady told me to go home. This is not done out of concern for me as much as it is over fear of catching it FROM me. So I left. I came home and hit the couch. I didn't have any desire to do anything but lie down. The rest of the day was spent dozing off and on, watching TV and eating toast and Tea. I feel better today, almost. I still feel "Off" and my throat is still a little scratchy, but I am clammy today instead of hot, so I take that as a good sign. If I'm not better tomorrow, I'll call the doctor. Terry wants me to call today, but I like to make sure it isn't going away in 24 - 48 hours before I put out $10.00 to be told it has to run it's course. I'm cheap that way. I called in and Boss lady asked if I am taking the rest of the week off. NO!! I hate wasting my time off being sick! But anyway, 1000 lashes from you, unclebob. I know I caught it from you or your wife. I just know it. Well, I'm going to hop back to the couch and spend day two of feeling like ca-ca. This isn't normal for me either. I don't usually get sick. Hope Terry will run to the store for some bread. It looks like it's gonna be another tea and toast day for me. Later... Later,
