Nephew Update. I am so proud I could pee!!Harry was awarded the Bronze Star. Buella received the letter today. Harry was working on some detail when another soldier came up to him and said his commanding officer wanted to see him. He went to him and he told Harry the Company Commander wanted to see him. They went into HIS office and the Batallion Comander and another VIP were there and told Harry he was receiving a Bronze Star. Harry had no idea why. Then he told her the reason. It seems that just after he had arrived in Iraq, he and a few others were sent to dig some bunkers. While they were working, they got information that the enemy was on the way. They stayed until they were done and then went back to their unit. Harry said he just kept digging, and not thinking about what could happen. He had a job to do and just did it without question. He found out that the bunkers they dug, and kept digging right up to the last minute, were responsible for saving the lives of two platoons of soldiers. He never knew until recently. Some died that day, but most survived. I am so proud of him. He has a job to do and obviously is doing it well. He hates it there. He is sick of it and wants to come home to his family. We want him to. The last news to him was that he would be home late in September or early October. We wait and pray. Later,
