Home again, Home again, Jiggery-jig Yup, I made it. I'm home! I'm a tad sore, but the Motrin is taking care of it. The total surgery itself was only 20 minutes, so I woke up pretty fast after. They didn't use bolts. They stitched the sling to my pelvic muscles. I went into a coughing fit for a solid half hour after I came out. I thought it was the cigarettes, but they informed me that it was because they put in a breating tube while I was out. I was going nuts. Aside from that, they gave me percoset and I wanted to eat everything in site. Was I ready to come home this morning? Damn straight!! I got home and read Terry's post. He is such a sweetie, huh? I told ya. He brought my coffee to my computer desk as soon as I came in. Right now he is making me lunch. There's just no stopping that man! He even had Carol bring up the porta potty from downstairs so I don't heve to do stairs or go up in the elvetor every half hour. I am swollen and will be for aroung 5 - 10 days. Then I should be better off. The great news is that Through the whole coughing fit thingy, I didn't squirt once!! Go me! Or should I say, "Don't go me!" I want to thank you all again for all your good wishes, good vibes, prayers and comments. THey were very much appreciated. Terry loved all your comments to him too. He knows how important you are all to me. He knows you guys almost as well as I do. I will say something about supermanfan, and he'll say, "Oh, he's that guy in Canada, right?" Or I'll mention about fishing and he knwos I'm talking about roadipig. Even Carol knows a bunch of you. You guys are family, I swear! Well, I'm going to check my mail and then eat and have a nap. I am allowed to walke aruond a bit. They actually encourage it so I don't develop any blood clots. But no lifting, driving or moving around too much for a week or so. I have my followup next Tuesday. He said he keeps his patients out of work for 4 - 8 weeks. I don't think so. I told him 2 and he said we will re-negotiate next week. I may go 3, but no more than that. We'll see. Later... Later,
