Much better, thank you very much. What a difference a call to the doctor and some common sense can make! Wowsa! Last night, my arm was hurting again and my hand was swollen. Talking with my next door neighbor, she said her hand never swelled. I got on the phone. The doctor called back within the hour. (Love that man!) I told him that 1) The sling is a pain in the ass. 2)The hand was swollen, and 2)I am ready to chuck the Vicodin. He said, 1) toss the sling unless I am going out of the house. 2) Unwrap the arm and rewrap it looser, and 3) chuck the vicodin. I took Ibuprofen last night and slept without the sling. I am now sitting here without any pain at all. I think I need to loosen the wrap again, as the swelling hasn't gone down much, but at least it doesn't hurt. He wants to see me on the 21st, (I think) and then I can chuck the ace bandage too. I looked at it. It is a lovely shade of black and blue as you can see here.  I figured I would show a picture. All the cool kids are doing it. Now doesn�t that look like something that warrants some chocolate? So do I. I think if this keeps up, I�m going to have to start a booboo diary ring. It would be to show all our battle scars. Ummmm, maybe not. Terry is putting together another armoire today. This matches the other one and I will finally have a central location for all of my sheets, pillow cases, and towels. Right now, there are towels in the laundry closet, sheets in the bedroom closet and blankets in various places. It will be good to have them all together. If nothing else happens while I�m out of work these next two weeks, I want to get more organized. No, I am not lifting anything. I am directing only. I am watching ER right now and playing some pogo later on. Then maybe a nap. Hey, this recovery stuff is kind of neat. Later,
