A little downtime. We interupt this session of a diary update for the following message: My HP Media Center is back! The problem was in the CPU Fan. It is now supposedly fixed, back to factory specs and bald-assed empty of all things. I have to put back my printer, scanner etc. I have to put back my favorites, my photo programs, etc. I have to reset my internet, my virus scan, ets. I shall be very, very busy. I shall be gone for awhile. One would think that after 10 years (On June 28Th) of having a computer, after having actually 1. An generic ? processor with 128 dial-up modem. 2. A gateway with a 333 processor and a 56k modem (still dial-up with 512mg ram 3. Compac (forgot the processor) 1 gig hard drive 4. Another Gateway yadda-yadda 5. A Dell yadda, yadda And all those were just mine and don't include hubby's, that I would be so used to restoring everything that I could do it quickly. Well.
