4th of July Week end. Saturday, Lori had a big cookout for Miya's birthday. I ran errands for her
in the morning getting ice and mine and Terry's present. I got her a
lawn chair and a Barbie sleeping bag. I gave them to her in the back
yard before the party. She immediately set the chir down and plopped
in it. The 4-year old queen of the party. I didn't stay for the
party. I love my grandbabies. It's the other 10 kids I didn't need
to hang out with. Call me a party pooper. Afer the party, Lori took off to Maine with the
girls. She hadn't been gone for and hour and her Boyfriend called her on the cell to tell her that their dog had just delivered her 3rd pup. I called for updates until Sunday morning and she had a total of 9. Lori had been a little miffed because he hadn't gone with her and the girls to Maine. They were glad in the long run. Sunday, the 4th we went to sister Stella's. Just her, boyfriend Jeff, Terry and me.
Wicked good food, ayuh! Jeff cooked steaks on the grill and made
some awesome tomato thingys. Tomatoes, a mix of cream cheese and blue
cheese he cooked under the broiler. Stella made macaroni salad and a
delicious desert. It was a combination of spongecake, cream cheese and jello. The top was strawberries, blueberries and whip cream that was arranged to make the American flag. It was beautiful and delicious too.
I took Terry's cranberry juice and my sombrero mix and made fruit
salad and deviled eggs.
We got baked. No, not drunk, I really do mean baked. We were in the
sun from 1:00 till 4. The tops of my feet and my arms are really red
today, but not as bad as Terry and Jeff's heads!
Thank God for hair! Hope yours was as good as mine.
