Snow Day!! Snow day!! Gotta love it. I was off all last week because I was sick. No really, I was. I was feeling much better by Wednesday, but my doctor said to stay home til Friday. My boss said there was no point in coming in for one day so for me to come back in today. I woke to find a blizzard out there! When I first looked outside, I figured since the cars were going by at a steady clip and the plows weren't even out, I was all set to go in. But as I have been sitting here, the wind has picked up and you can't even see across the street. They have cancelled schools. My co-worker, Charl, was told on Friday that if the Senior Center was closed, they we were to stay put and not go in. Well, we have been calling the Center since 6:00 am and there is no answer. But! Does that mean they're closed? Will the open in 10 minutes? Who knows. Boss Lady is off this week. Co-worker calls and boss lady says her road is clear and of course we have to go in today... After me fitting and fuming because it is rediculous to be on the roads, Charl calls back and said boss lady called her back. Deal is that if it clears up by noon, we go in. If not, we stay home. That works for me. I have my little crafty thing to finish anyway. On the down side, I also have shoveling to do so the UPS guy can bring the rest of my Christmas presents O've ordered. Only 5 more days! Just one more little tidbit to leave you with on this snowy Monday. If you think your holiday is wanting and your feeling down, check this out and count your blessings.
