2001 Toyota EchoMerry Christmas to me!! The check cleared!! The check cleared!!I am looking at the above car tomorrow afternoon. Well, not the above car. That's just a picture of it. The one I'm looking at is the same color with only 67,000 miles on it and if all goes well and it is as described, as of 3:30 tomorrow afternoon it is all mine!! It is silver, only one owner (a mom), AM/FM Tape Casette, CD Player, A/C and in perfect shape!! The owner listed it two weeks ago in the paper. I didn't have the money so I just folded up the paper and set it aside. It hasn't been in the paper for 3 days. I called tonight and she still has it. And.... she has dropped the price $1,000.00! She has people wanting it, but they all want to make payments on it. The local Toyota dealer doesn't want to give her squat for a trade-in so she wants to sell it privately. I am so excited I could pee!! I am selling my Corolla for $500.00 so that will take care of my sales tax and registration. Well, that's IF it sells. I should be at the casino today with my luck. Dell has FINALLY mailed out my rebate from almost two months ago! I have been waiting for that $100.00 since 10/26. I have to laugh about something tonight. Remember the car I mentioned a while back? The guy wouldn't take my $500.00 deposit and wait till the check cleared? Well, I drove by today. It's still there! Hahahaha. I hope it sits there until it rusts! I told Terry I don't want anything else for Christmas. Saturday, he told me to go to Penny's and find a winter coat I liked. I found a beautiful beige coat that goes down to right above the knees. It has a hood with a fox fur trim (OK, Pet*a kick my ass). It is thermal and squishy soft! They were having a huge sale and it was 50% off. I got it also sprung for hat and scarf to go with it. I told him tonight that I don't want anything else for Christmas. The coat was enough and sure as hell, the car is more than I had hoped for. I don't need any more. I have more than my share this year. He still plans on shopping. He said I have to have something to unwrap Christmas morning. I think I may have to beat him up. Later,
