More funnies. First, some points to ponder. Hubby received these yesterday in an e-mail:

How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?
Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours and cry?
Why are you IN a movie, but you are ON TV?
Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?
How come we choose from just two people for President and fifty for Miss America?
Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.
If a 911 operator has a heart attack, whom does s/he call?
I signed up for an exercise class and was told to wear loose-fitting clothing. If I HAD any loose- fitting clothing, I wouldn't have signed up in the first place!
When I was young we used to go "skinny dipping," now I just "chunky dunk."
Wouldn't it be nice if whenever we messed up our life we could simply press 'Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over?
Why is it that our children can't read a Bible in school, but they can in prison?

My horoscope yesterday said that I was going to get some wonderful news that would change my whole life. Well, I woke up this morning. I guess the fact that you wake up is a good start. I knew I wasn�t going to win the powerball. I forgot to buy a ticket. The weather here has calmed down for a while. No more �30 below wind chill anyway. Last year when it got really cold, I would go out and start my car about 15 minutes before I had to take off for work. After starting the car, I would try to close the door and it would just spring back at me. I would then have to lock it to keep it closed, and buy the time I got to work, the lock would be frozen and I would have to exit the passenger door. Not this year! I bought a little purse sized can of lock de-icer. Must be an amazing product! I bought it and dropped it into my purse and the lock hasn�t frozen yet! That surf is fantastic!
As far as we know, Harry is about halfway to Kuwait now. He should be there by tomorrow. I won�t be happy until February 12th when his plane lands in KY. Then I can relax. Thank you all for your wonderful comments about my survivor entry yesterday. Now that it�s down to the final 4, the heat is on. There are some very good writers in there. I don�t know how long I am going to survive, but this has been a lot of fun. We�ll see. Well, time to get out of here and go earn a living. You all have a great day!
