Anna one - anna - two What a difference a day makes! I feel great! Eeha! Of course it would be nice if I didn't have to go out. I blew off doing anything yesterday. Today it is 30 degrees out there. At least it's sunny. So today I get to do the shopping/banking/errands. That's ok. I'm taking sister Stella with me. We will do breakfast first at Dockside. It's this town's answer to the Greasy Spoon. This afternoon I get to do my taxes. That is fine by me. I used T*rbo T*X last year and it found stuff I didn't even know I could claim. This year should be even better. I get to deduct all my supplies for my button business and the cost of my computer! Legally! Ahh America, such a country! I am going foraging at the grocery store. That's the only way I can think of it. I am coming home loaded down with salad fixins for my diet. I am not following Atkins, Weight Watchers or any other preset diet this time. I am starting Monday and this is what I plan to do. See if it makes sense. I am going to cut all sugar out except the sugar in fruits. I am not going to eat anymore bread pasta, bread or cereal except one bowl oatmeal or high fiber cereal for breakfast 3 times a week and a potato for dinner on the days I eat eggs for breakfast. I figure if I do that, I can't help but lose. Lunch is only going to be salad and meat and dinner is going to be meat, vegetable and/or salad. And I am keeping my portions to what I need to eat, not what I can fit on a plate. No more desserts, no more sugared soda, no more sombreros and damn it, NO MORE LATE FEES!! Oh, sorry. I watch way too much TV. Anyway. I am getting on the scale right now! WOWOSA!! Allowing 2 pounds for my clothes and shoes, I am now at 151 lbs! Sh*t! Ok, I will give myself as long as it takes, but a reasonable guesstimate is that by tax day (April 15th for you non-US-ers I WILL be down to 130! Ya! Go me! Starting Monday!!! Ok, I have to run. This is only Saturday and there is a huge blueberry muffin waiting for me at the Greasy Spoon. And later, I really must have the obligatory last sombrero before Monday and there IS still a bunch of Christmas candy left in my hidden-from-grandkids-stash-drawer. So many goodies, so little time.
