Food Poisoning!!! Well, so much for my praising the accolades of the Chinese place down the street. We went for lunch as I said we were going to. We all stocked up on the buffet and sat down. Follow this, we all had something on our plates that one other person had except me. (Sounds like a logic puzzle, eh?) I had rice, chicken wings, peaches, and crab ragoon. Nobody else had peaches or ragoon, but they did all have the rice and chicken. About halfway through the meal, I had eaten 2 ragoons and two pieces of peach and a lot of the rice, when all of a sudden I felt like I got hit in the lower stomach with a 2'X 4'. My sister told me it was probably just stress from worrying about having my staples out so I just blew it off. I was fine by the time we left. (Or so I thought.) It was around 2:30 when we got home and I had a few more pains. Just as severe, but they didn't last too long. Then at 3:30 I though to God I was going die! No kidding, seriousley! I thought I was dying. I have had two babies, one a full breach, and I suffer cronic IBS. I know pain, trust me. I was in so much agony, I had Hubby off the couch in his wheelchair ready to take me to the Emergency Room. This entire time, I was in the bathroom (we won't even go there!) This lasted until quarter pasted 4! By the time I came downstairs, I was exhausted. I figured I would call and talk to a nurse and see what they would do for me if it was food poisioning. Hey, save myself a trip if I could cure it myself. I have spent enough time in the hospital this past month to last me into the next decade, so I wasn't in a hurry to go back. So I spoke to the nurse in the ER on the phone. She said that I couldn't do anything at home and that I should go in. I waited for a half hour or so and it hit again but only last 3 or 4 minutes. I decided to ride it out. The last pain I got was about 8:00 so I figured I had it licked. So far so good today. Crampy, but do-able. Bad Chinese food, bad, bad, bad! __________________________________ It's now 1:00pm and it is 62 degrees outside! Yaaaaaaaa! My heat is off and all my windows are open. And I'm in New-freakin-England! And it's March! How great is that????? Tomorrow we are supposed to be back in the 40's so I'm lovin it today! ___________________________________ Staple thing went well yesterday. I plan on going back to work a week from Monday. I told the doctor this and he said, "Come in on Friday and we will see how it lookes." Don't tell me I may be out for another TWO weeks! That would be terrible! ; ). Later... Later,
