Home again, home again Jiggery Jig I'm b-a-a-a-ck! Well "That" was an experience! I got to the hospital at 9:oo on Wednesday morning and was supposed to have the surgery at 10:30. Wrong! An emergency came in so I never went in until 12:00. It was over at 2 and at 4 I was begging for a coffee. They gave, decaf, yuck! They had me hooked up to the morpine which meant I woke up with the headache from hell. I hate that stuff. They offered me Vicadin. Nope, that gives me headaches too. I asked for Tylenol. The talked me into trying Percocet. That worked, but made me too tired so since yesterday morning, I have just taken the tylenol. The pain is non-existant if I sit still. If I move, it hurts under my arms when the drains are. I had Terry try to count my stitches. I'm weird that way. He got up to 40 and lost count. But guess what? I am flat!!! And I have no more sink holes!! My incision goes from under one arm all the way across to the other. Very neat. I told the surgeon that I know who I am going to call if I ever need a prom dress. Another difference this time is the dressing. Last time, they put Xoform strips on the incisions and gauze and that was it. This time they wrapped around with an ace bandage. I feel more secure. I actually feel good. Now that the druggyness is gone, I almost feel back to normal except I am wicked tired. Well hello!! I am grateful that is all I can complain about. I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to kitchenlogic. Check this out!
