Hustle Bustle of Christmas Busy, busy busy. Last night I met the girls for holiday cheer. We went to Happy Holidays. Approprate name don't you think? We did drinks and munchies. Since we met at 5:00, I was still home in time for Providence. It was the season and probably the series finale'. I hate that they are canceling it. It may still come back. We have to wait and see what the powers that be will do. Anyway, the afternoon/evening went nicely. I got a pretty little embroidered angel and a Vanilla scented candle. ************************************************** Today I get to wrap all my presents. Then later I get to go and pick out my Christmas present. Terry wants to buy me a rope chain necklace but he wants me to pick it out myself so I will get the one I want. He is so good to me! Other than that, I have nothing to do until Monday morning. Work the day and then off for the next two. Lori and the girls are coming for Christmas Eve. That will be fun. ************************************************** I got a present from my secret Santa yesterday. This was sponsored by Amazon.com and I received a $15.00 Gift Certificate. I immediately orderd the soundtrack from Providence. I am psyched! I love the music. ************************************************** It is already 40 degrees here this morning and it's only 8:00. It doesn't feel like Christmas. It is strange. I remember when I was little, it was always a white Christmas. Now days, we have Christmas and then we get snow for the next two or three months. As far as I'm concerned, there are only three good snowfalls. The first one, The Christmas Eve one, and the last one. We don't need anymore than that. ************************************************** I have my tickets for tonight's powerball. I hope someone hits it tonight. 215 million dollars is almost vulgar. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't refuse it, but it still doesn't seem right. I would definately do some good things with it. Of course I'm not going to win it, but the dream has been fun, none the less. ************************************************** Well, time to get busy with the wrapping.
