Much ado about a couple of things. Long day at work. Busy, busy busy. I am pooped. I got home, though and found two boxes of Nancy Drew books waiting for me! I feel like a kid! I got some of the original ones. I have a couple with original copyright dates of 1932 and 1933. My goal is to collect all of them. I can get most of them on Ebay. I just don't want to order them all at once. If I order in spurts, maybe Terry won't notice how much I'm blowing on them. Just kidding. He loves it when I'm excited. Ok, Get your minds out of the gutter. I wore a pair of my new girly shoes to work today. Funny how a pair of shoes can change your whole outlook on life. When I woke up, I was feeling old and worm and fuzzy under my flannel sheets. I was toasty and snuggely. But in just a few short hours, I was walking to my car and thinking to myself, "I am woman hear me roar! Hear me roar how stupid I am for wearing open toed sandles this early in the spring when it's only 38 freakin degrees outside!!" How dumb am I?? Very, thank you very much for asking.
In the news, I guess Poor Prince Charles and Horseface Camilla have had to face the worst insult ever! After being in a an adulterous love affair for better than 30 years, now they have to postpone their laughing stock of a wedding. That darn Pope is stealing all their thunder. How very gosh! Just no manners atooowl!! I have a dream. Just something that I love to picture. I imagine Charles and horseface Camilla walking down the isle when all of a sudden two midgets run up and pull the sticks out of their asses and they are reduced to two puddles on the floor. I am amazed to read that Camilla will not be accompaning the Prince to Rome for the funeral. I guess he's leaving the whore home. Mummy must have told him that it would be distastful. Gee, Camilla better hope that the Prince isn't picking out his new girlfriend. After all, everyone knows he has to have one before the wedding. History does repeat itself, doesn't it. Maybe he'll visit the stables while he's there.
On a more somber note, I wish to express my condolances to all of you who are morning the passing of Pope John Paul II. I am not Catholic, but I have a great deal of respect for the man. He faced great challenges and controversy in his papalcy. Some criticized him for being too rigid in his rules. Well, though I can't say I agreed with all of them, at least he stuck to his principles and beliefs though others would have him give up tradition in favor of changing times. Unless I am mistaken, God hasn't yet come back to change anything in the bible. If a man teaches what he believes to be right, he can't change in midstream to accomodate the masses just because it is easier. As I said, I didn't agree with many of his views, but he was a man of peace and deserves respect. For those of you who mourn, I will say a prayer for you. Later,
