Friday nightmares Wow. CSI, Wow. I'm still hyperventilating when I think about it. Ok, if you watched it, you know what I'm talking about. If you didn't, you don't care. I will say one more thing about it though. It was really ironic. One scene showed Frank Gorshin sitting at a table with a couple of other people. I turned and told Terry, "Wow, that's Frank Gorshin!" Terry answered, "Who is he?" (Him being a Brit, you know, is not really up on American TV pre-1978 or so.) He was the Riddler on Batman." "Oh" Ya, the Riddler. I then proceed to tell hubby that I was surprised to see him because I thought he was dead. Imagine my surprise when, at the end of the show, it said, Dedicated to Frank Gorshin, 1933 - 2005 Spoooooky Yes indeed he died. He was perhaps one of the best impersonators of all times. He was right up there with Rich Little. God, I'm old. Ok, for all you kids out there that have not a clue as to what I am talking about. Picture Dana Carvey doing his impressions of Bush et al, only much, much better. Since I am noting things I have observed of late, I leave you with this thought: Do you think that maybe it is time that Law and Order and all things spin-off as in Criminal Intent, Trial by Jury and SVU may want to go outside the box when casting guest stars? It is getting rather confusing when they have a rapist on Law & Order return in the next few weeks as a victim on SVU, and later as a Defense attorney on Trial by Jury and inevitably as a Judge on Criminal Intent. You can't tell the good guys from the bad! Indeed, Life imitates art far more than art imitates Life.
