There is Hope and More Hope. I called the senior center today. I asked if it would be ok to put up the notice about Goodgirl. The lady listened to me for a few minutes and then told me to bring a picture of her too and to show "Don". Don is the Director. It seems that Don at one time had 9 cats. Most were strays he took in and others were "donated" to him. Over the years, his bunch had gotten old and had dwindeled down to 3. Armed with the picture and story that I posted yesterday, I showed up at 3:45. I was met buy a wonderful man of about 40. I told him that someone thought he might be willing to open his doors and his heart to one more. We talked for over 45 minutes. He showed me pictures of one of his "babies", a Maine Coon cat that has long passed away. When I was ready to leave, he never said he would post it. That is a good sign. They DO post them, so I may have convinced him. He has no children. He lives with his friend and their cats. I hope it works out. I also told him that I would like to see her go soon so I will know that she's happy before I move. I'll keep you posted. One other note for you. Every day we read in the papers, hear on the news, and listen to the radio about bombings. We hear about the men and women dying in wars. We hear about the abused children and the drug addicts and the criminals. Every day. Well today isn't much different except for one huge thing. Read ThisThere are miracles. Today there were 309 of them. Some days you just want to say, "Amen".
