I can�t begin to thank you all for the outpouring of support for Lori and our family. It means more than you can possible know unless you too have been the beneficiary of that support at one time or another. You are all like family to me. It never ceases to amaze me how one can start a diary/journal and maintain it for 4 or 5 years and then just close it.
I could not walk away from you people for any reason in the world short of not having my computer. You have been and continue to be a huge part of my life. Thank you.
We are putting aside our �what if�s and our �when will�s until we have some more definitive answers. As I continue to tell Lori, �Let�s not in invite trouble.� We are trying to talk about anything but that for now. We are planning Brittni�s 16th birthday party. We are telling jokes. We are laughing and going about our lives.
She got a call Friday afternoon. I don�t know if this is good news or bad. The neurologist/specialist wants to see her right away. He told her to come in Monday. It�s a double edged blade. One side says it�s great that she got in to see this man so quickly. I am sure with his reputation, he is usually booked far in advance. On the other hand, why the urgency in seeing her? I don�t know. But I have to just try to put it on hold til we find something out. But again, thank you all so very much.
Someone sent me this in my email. I love it. It really encapsulates (neener) the meaning of the often misquoted: Music has charms that sooth the savage beast.
A little trivia: The phrase was coined by William Congreve, in The mourning bride, 1697:
Musick has Charms to sooth a savage Breast,

As you can see, the line �Musick has Charms to sooth a savage Breast� is often misquoted as �Music has charms to sooth the savage beast.� I have never had my breasts soothed with music. Lotion maybe, never music.

This Line was originally �Nor Hell a Fury like a Woman scorn�d.�
