Winding Down Hey Everyone! It's still busy as the dickens around here. We have our Housing Authority Lunch at noon today. We will be serving lund to approximately 70 people. Fun day! I enjoy it. I thought we might get snowed out, but the forcast is only 1 to 3 inches. Yay! Tomorrow is the Ashaway Stroll. I hope to make oodles of money. Hope is the operative word here. It's the first year I have sold my buttons, so we shall see how it goes. I got smart though. I made the majority of Christmas buttons without dates, so they will hold over for next year if they don't sell. We put up the Christmas tree. The top was bent, so we took it down and put up Lori's tree from last year. The stand broke. I finally got a new one from Wallyworld that looks wonderful. Only $30.00 and it has over 400 lights built on it! Gotta love it. And it only comes in 3 pieces. No sticking all those color coded limbs in it. Ya, looks purty. I'll take a picture before I take it down. Promise. After tomorrow, it should finally slow down around here. Yesterday, Brittni (oldest granddaughter) and I went down and cleaned the basement. I hadn't swept it before I moved in and there were enough leaves to make a tree, I swear. And everything we had taken down was just dropped anywhere there was room. Not so now! Oh no! Neat as a pin. The only thing left to do down there is to break down the 8 or 10 boxes the big stuff came in when we moved in. I'm not even worried about them. WHey can wait till spring. All my decorations are finally up and after tomorrow, it's just a matter of finishing up my shopping, wrapping it up and relaxing. It has been a really busy past months. I'm glad to get back into the slow motion lifestyle. It suits me better. I will say one thing about the season, though. I love the spirit, I love the Christmas music and I love the giftgiving but if I never hear "Domonic the Donky again in my lifetime, I will die a happy person. I HATE that song!!
