Here again. Howdy Doody! What a weekend. Too bad it's almost over. I posted a bunch of new jokes on my main page and a few more in the naughty section of hardy-har. Enjoy.
Yes, we won the auction. Wasn't too hard, since we were the only ones to bid on it. In answer to someone's question, it is a platform that attaches to a hitch on the back of the car. A ramp folds down and Terry will sit in his manual chair and guide the power chair up on the platform, fold the ramp back up , get into the car, use the roof lifet to put his manual chair on top of the car and off he goes! When he gets where he's going, he does the whole thing in reverse, jumps into the power chair and into whichever stor/restraunt/doctor's office he want to. The guy that had the aution has a store and sells them for about $15.00 more on his site. They go for about $300.00 and up anywhere else. We paid $250.00 Terry will put it on the car the next nice day we have. I don't think it will be this week. The weather channel is threatening us with a major snowstorm from Tuesday night till Thursday morning. We'll see. I'll believe it when I see it. We sent our humongous 50" TV back to the rental place. We got another one a bit smaller (42") on charge. With what Terry would end up paying for the large one, this one will be less than half the price. The problem is that we had them take the other one back last Monday. The new one still isn't here. The order still says it is "in process". It's now been 15 days. Hmmm. I will be calling them, yet again, tomorrow. You do realize, they will send it. The really don't want to mess with me. So anyway, I think I'm finally back. I can't describe what I have been going through lately. I haven't been sick. I haven't been upset. I have just been in a weird kind of sad place. I think maybe a little depressed, but not quite. Like I said, I can't explain it. I think I'm finally over it anyway. So moving right along.... I am already looking forward to spring. Am I alone in this? I know its weeks away, but Pawtuxie Phil wouldn't lie, would he? Nah.
