Just more stuff. If my life slows down anymore I will be a mannequin. I worked Wednesday through Friday. It was busy but a no-stress time. I planned on doing nothing this weekend except cleaning but a friend called with computer trouble. I have a problem with that. I know how important mine is to me, so of course I spent 4 hours at her house yesterday working on hers. It's working, but either her or her hubby did the bad thing. Both deny it. The bad thing is when you are deleting a program and it says "This file MAY be shared by other programs. Would you like to delete it anyway?" And you do. Bad - bad - bad!!! So they deleted the WSHLINA.DLL or some stupid named file. What does that file do? Well Ollie, I don't know for sure, but if you delete it, it really screws up your day! Evidently, it was a shared file with their ATT&T ISP. SO they couldn't get online. Now if you delete a file, normally, you can just go online and find one to download but if it is hooked to your ISP application, you are in big trouble. If you can't get online, you sure can't download. Reinstalling ATT&T didn't help either because without that file, I couldn't uninstall, so I did the only thing I could do. The old "OH MY GOD YOU DELETED EVERYTHING!!!" total restore. Yup. Say goodbye to all those recipies. Adios to all hubby's favorite porn sites. Vamoose to all the MP3's and Video library. Did they want to back anything up? No, they didn't know how and it would have taken me hours to do it all for them. I'm nice, but I'm not that nice. That's ok, it will keep them of the streets for a while. Today, I have laundry and more junk to get rid of. My trash man is going to start double charging me. I have had twice the load last week and this week. I still can't believe some of the stuff I have hoarded throughout the past 8 years we have lived here. I did another banner for Diaryland top 100. It doesn't show up yet. It's pretty lame, but I wanted a change and don't have the time to design my own right now. I am taking the week of the 13th off. I end up using 5 vacation but get to stay home for 9! Eeha! I have to catch up on my Web Design classes. I haven't done one since before my surgery so I have 4 to knock out now. Busy busy.
