I watched the Cher, Final Concert last night. I taped it too. I missed the last half hour but I will watch that tonight. Ok, I know some people don't like her, but I still think she is fantastic. I have had people tell me they don't like her because she is so man-made. Ok, nose job, face lifts, Boobs? maybe. But, ya know? So what! If I had her money don't you think I would look that great at her age (57)? Damn straight!
What a show! She showed clips from back in the Sonny and Cher days, clips of her in her movies and pics of Chasity when she was little. She rocks! Maybe the nose has been changed and the face has been lifted, but the voice is hard to fake and she still has a wonderfully unique one. Watching this was a wonderful break from CNN and MSNBC.
It would seem that I am going to fave a fun-filled week-end ahead. My Brother was planning on coming down from Maine and now it seems my sister is going to also. That means me, two brothers and two sisters for a day of drinking, eating and silliness! I am so psyched! And you want to know the best, most wonderful news? My brother is bringing me a case of Clam cakes!! Not just any clamcakes, mind you, but Harmon's clamcakes. If you are not from Maine, you could not possibly know how wonderful these are.
