Stupid is as stupid does. How to go insane 101 Ok, I am here, sort of. I am on a peoplepc dial-up. $10.95 a month. Not bad and not too slow. THe only problem is that when the phone rings, I get bumped off. I am at my wits end. I got my computer back minus the sound. I must have a bad sound card or something. I downloaded the driver from Gateway, but it won't install. The next problem is my D-Link netword adapter. Again, I downloaded that from D-Link, so I know it is the correct one, but the problem with it is that it isn't self-installing and I don't know how to do it. Any help out there? I tried add new hardware, but it won't load from where I put it, (on my desktop). I feel so stupid sometimes. Later...
