I think I have to Get off The Web for a While. I think I need to take a break from here. I mean from all that is internet. I think I must unplug this machine and pack it away in the attic for awhile. Why? I'll tell you. I have finally OD'd on the World Wide Web. I got out of work today as usual. I had talked to Terry and we decided neither one of us felt like cooking a big meal. I suggested our favorite stand-by. Grilled Cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. We were low on cheese and I was out of tomato soup, so I stopped at Sunrise Deli. I walked around the Deli counter. Over the deli, on the wall, they have three large chalkboards that list the prices of their cold cuts, cheeses and sandwiches. I looked up at the sign and started reading. All of a sudden, halfway down the board, I burst out laughing. I don't know about you, but when I read the words, I say them in my head to myself. What I had read and thought halfway down the sign, when I went back and re-read it, set me into a fit of laughing. People around me started inching away. I must have looked like I had gone mad. I will print the sign from memory and see if you can read my blooper and guess what set me off. Ignore the prices. I can't remember them exactly.

Liverwurst -------- $3.69lb.
Swiss Cheese ------ $4.30lb.
LOL Cheese -------- $3.29lb.
Alpine Cheese ----- $3.59lb.
Do you see it? Yes Folks, imagine how stupid I would have sounded if I had ordered a pound of Laughing Out Loud Cheese. That is exactly how I read it. Thank God I don't read out loud. I explained to the girl that waited on me. She didn't get it, but the other clerk, a boy of about 17 cracked up. I am just grateful SOMEONE got it. Just for the record, in case some of you have no clue what LOL stands for in the offworld, it is Land of Lakes. Cheeeeeese, indeed! Later... Later,
