Almost Friday Gee, I am totally purplexed. I just checked my stats from today. Someone came here from lady-malfoy's diary and read this entry from today and stuck around and read 89 pages! 89!!!! What were they thinking?? I am so very flattered. Unless of course it was a pervert that has a thing for gramndmothers! I hope not. The thing is I am really flattered that someone would come in and spend 59 minutes, yes 59 minutes in my diary but they never left a note, a comment or a guestbook entry. I wish they had. I really do. I like to know who visits especially when it is someone new. If it is a regular reader, they haven't read me in over 3 months, but that's ok too. It is just the not-knowing that gets me. So please, if it was you, fess up.
I'm kind of bumming tonight. Sister Carol came over tonight and told me she and hubby Bob are moving back to Arizona. I wasn't surprised, just sad. I have loved having her here for the past 2 years. It's been great. She is my oldest older sister. She got me back to Bingo. She plays awesome Trivial Pursuit. She is moving. (sob). I wasn't surprised because her daughter and grandbabies are there. I knew it was a matter of time before the cold winters and missing the baby and grandbabies would get to her. Darn, darn, darn. She is staying until after my surgery. They plan on leaving the first week in November. I will miss her terribly. I still have next oldest sister here, but she is wrapped up in her own life, which is good but I'm not a big part of it. That's ok. I half expect to hear brother Pete say he's going back down south anyday too. He has emphesema and the winters here kill him. He has been hinting. Well, I will make do. It's funny. 9 years ago, I moved here from Maine all by myself. Two months later, my daughter came down. I was fine with that. Now it feels lke I'm being abandoned. Oh, don't get me wrong. I would be totally ok with just Lori and the girls here. I won't follow anyone, be sure, but I will miss them.
Remember me telling you awhile ago that I came up with a new invention? I am sending my patent application and fee off this week-end. I am soooo psyched. It may not go anywhere, but I really think it will. When I get the offical letter from the patent office, I will let you in on my idea. I can't believe what I came up with has not been invented yet. It is such a simple idea and yet, I searched the existing patents and there is nothing even close to it. Wish me luck, will ya? If this goes like I think it could, I am going to be offering the patent to lots of companies in the next few months. I am sure it will sell. Well, ER is coming on. I have to watch and make sure Luka is still dead. Later... Later,
