Sox and trash and gizzars, oh my! I don't know how this happened. I am not a sports fan by any stretch of the imagination. Why, then oh why am I sitting here watching the Red Sox and the Yankees? I am even yelling at moments. Aside from the fact that it's the bottom of the 6th and the Yankees are ahead 4 - 2, it's a good game. Aside from the fact that Roger Clemmens and Pedro Martinez looke like they could chew the bark off the tree, it's interesting. Aside from the fact that Pedro Martinez tossed 72 year old Zimmer to the ground, it's entertaining. In all fairness, I watched the re-play 4 times. Zimmer started it. He put his left arm up like he was ging to deck Pedro and Pedro just tossed him aside instead of hitting him. Sorry, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I want the Red Sox to win but it doesn't' look too hopeful from where I sit.
I am bushed. I am trying to get a bunch of stuff done before Tuesday. We want to fix up our spare room for Sharon and Becky's visit next month so I moved out all the furniture ad Terry painted the ceiling today. I will tape around the windows and dorrs and he will hit the walls tomorrow. Whew! I'm getting old. I also did all the laundry and put some old furniture out on the sidewalk. I put a "FREE" sign on it. There was a bed and a big mirror that goes on top of a dresser. I went out an hour after I put it there and the mirror was gone. I was happy to see that, but the jurk could have left the sign! So I had to make another one and put it on the bed. I don't know if it's still there or not. I'll check in the morning. Some people don't want to be seen helping themselves. I love getting rid of stuff like that. For one thing, I don't have to pay to get rid of it. Next, someone else can get some use out of it. I like that. It's amazing what people will take. Though I would never put anything out that didn't still have some life in it, I can't see myself ever picking it up from someone else's front yard. One man's trash is another man's treasure, I guess.
Time for dinner. Terry is re-heating some beef stew. He doesn't want to share my dinner. I don't know why. Tonight's fare is chicken gizzard's slowley simmered with bell's seasoning and fresh onions with bread and butter on the side. Yum. I have a few other favorites that he won't touch. Calves tongue, tripe, chicken hearts and livers. Doesn't know what's good for him. Ya, I know, cholestorol. Don't burst my bubble. I'm hungry. Later... Wait! 4-3! Wait!!! Nevermind. Later, Cosmic
