SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK!!!

For a really cute Video, go back one entry. I love it.

This I DO NOT love. I wish this stupid government would make up their mind. I am going to be a basket case enough the next week or so without adding the following to the mix. Why cant the just let it go for this year and go back to the way it was next year? I cant belive it. This is posted this morningon CNN site. NBC news is talking about it too.

SET THE CLOCKS BACK AGAIN TONIGHT!!
Washington, DC (AP)
Beginning in 2007, most of the United States began Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and was set to revert to standard time on the first Sunday in November. In the U.S., each time zone switches at a different time.

On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007. It was to begin on the second Sunday in March and was to end the first Sunday in November. The Secretary of Energy was to report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retained the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study was complete.

On Sunday, March 11, everyone in the U.S. that normally would set their clocks ahead did so. It seemed strange to some, but many agreed that the early start was a good thing.

Despite the seemingly smooth transaction on March 11th , the change has caused several problems throughout the U.S. Primarily these problems have been seen in the financial areas. Wall Street has reported several cases of confusion of global proportions.

The U.S. military has also had their share of troubles. Worldwide, Daylight Saving Time (incorrectly pronounced Daylight SavingS Time) there have been multitudes of miscommunications due to the fact that the U.S. was the only continent to change the dates. Other nations worldwide refused to adjust their dates to co-inside with the U.S.

Due to the severity of problems that have been seen internationally, Congress has issued a mandate that clocks will be returned one hour earlier at 2:00 a.m. on the last Saturday of this month and remain in the Standard time until next Sunday which would have been the original date of setting clocks ahead. At this time clocks will be reset to the one hour ahead schedule of Daylight Saving Time. On 2:00a.m. October 28th 2007, we will resume Standard time at the date that was set forth under legislation enacted in 1986, when Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. began at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday of April and ended at 2:00 a.m. on the last Sunday of October.

>For the U.S. and its territories, Daylight Saving Time is NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Arizona. The Navajo Nation participates in the Daylight Saving Time policy, even in Arizona, due to its large size and location in three states.

President Bush was unavailable for comment earlier today. The Presidential Press Secretary, Tony Show told reporters in a meeting earlier today that though the President is backing this decision, he admits that it will be an inconvenience for everyone.

A news conference has been scheduled for Sunday evening at 8:00p.m. EST and it will be Standard time once again Sunday evening. NBC, FOX, ABC, and CBS will cover the press conference. April Fools. The early bird gets the worm.

Later,
Cosmic
