Home again, Home again, Jiggery Jig. Good morning. We are finally back to normal. Well, as normal as we ever get. Terry came home on Thursday. He is still on antibiotics for a run of three weeks, but that�s a whole lot better than being in the hospital. It turned out that the kidney infection was secondary. It was finally diagnosed as Acute infectious prostatitis. This is kind of a misnomer, as he wasn�t infectious. The good news is that is is controlled and he should be totally well by the end of the medication. He feels pretty much normal now. I noticed that he actually looks better than he has in a month. So this could have been a bladder infection for weeks and not noticed. The doctor told me that when he was him in the ER, even HE was scared. Ya, it was very serious. This has been on hell of a week. In a matter of six days, he was in and out of the hospital, I was running back and forth for him, working, had my pre-op doctors appointment, my pre-op hospital appointment and my pre-op appointment with my surgeon. It was a very hectic six days. But, that�s all history now. He is home, he is well and I have 3 days off (well, two left) with nothing to do. I work Monday and Tuesday and my surgery is Wednesday. Actually, I have plenty to do. I am trying to make sure I get as much done as I can. I am getting the laundry done, the house is fine now and I am all stocked up on groceries. I am going to be out of work for a minimum of two weeks, according to the doctor. As horrible as the surgery sounds, it couldn�t come at a better time. I need the rest! I�m trying to catch up on my daily diaries. I will eventually. Be patient if you have had anything major going on and I haven�t commented. It isn�t for lack of interest, trust me. In the next few weeks, you will probably get sick of me, lol.
Too bad. I got my hair chopped off. One less thing to deal with. I won�t say how long it�s been since I got it cut, but my hairdresser did a double take when I said hi to her at the salon. She didn�t recognize me! Ya, it�s been a while. I got the short and Sassy cut again so I can wash one-handed and run. I like the spiked look. I will try to get a pic up. It�s really, really short. Gee, not much left to talk about. I�ve been so engrossed in what was going on here that I really haven�t been thinking about much else. Maybe I will have more to say tomorrow.
