Old Friday Five Happy Saturday. I have a kickback weekend ahead. I have nothing planned except grocery shopping and studying. Sounds boring huh? Well, maybe, but I love not having to be anywhere or do anything. Monday through Friday, I HAVE to get up and go to work. I love not HAVING to do anything. The only problem with it is that it makes for a very dull entry. That being said, I figured I would do the; Friday FiveSince they are very busy there, (at Friday Five) I have chosen one from their archives.September 28, 2001
1. Laying on your back and facing the ceiling, which side of the bed do you sleep on?
I sleep right in the middle. Hubby and I have seperate beds now because he is up and down all hours of the night and since he has no legs, his lying down and gettin up make the whole bed shake. I hate it, but what ya gonna do?
2. Do you have to have covers (blankets and/or sheets) at all costs, no matter the weather?
This is one of the good things about sleeping separately. Hubby covers up with a blanket and comforter in all kinds of weather. Not me. In the summer I don't want anything over me. Nada, Zilch.
3. Sleep nekkid or no? Why?
Nope. Can't. It's a childhood thing. I can remember when it would thunder lightning. I would get up in the middle of the night during a storm and find my mom completely dressed sitting on the couch. She was always ready to get out of the house if she had to. She never admitted to being afraid of the storms, but as an adult, I can figure out where I got my fear. To this day, I need to know that I am covered 24/7 "just in case". This of course does not include the shower. ***A bit of trivia thrown in here. An old Blue Law makes it against the law to take a shower while clothed while in Florida. Yup. Truth.
4. What's under your bed?
Humm. One double fan that really needs to be cleaned before hot weather and one VCR that plays but doesn't record. I keep it for emergency use only.
5. If you have pets, do you let them sleep with you? Why or why not? I have a cat. She is allowed at the foot of the bed only. I can't stand cat hair around my face and she sheads constantly. (Check out my rugs if you don't believe that.) I love her dearly, but up near the pillow? Nope.
Later... Later, Cosmic
