Do you remember when I said that my granddaughter, Miya was like me? Her attitude? Her smart-aleck sense of humour? Well, this is a little much.
She was playing with her sister around the basketball hoop in the yard. Evidently, Deja pulled it over, Miya got on the top and Deja pushed it back up. You�re talking an 8 foot high hoop. From what they said, Miya sat up there for a bit and then decided to come down. They say the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. There is also the scientific theory of gravity. It is not simply a theory.

Lori ran her to the ER. She is fine, of course. Well, except for the lump on her head (no concussion) and the possible fractured wrist and broken arm. According to the doctor, her arm is so little, they can�t be sure if there is a break yet. It is swollen in both places. Lori has to take her back in two days and they will x-ray it again. If there are breaks in either place, because of her age, they will start healing almost immediately and in two days, it will show up on the x-ray
No fear, that kid. No fear. She actually slept on the way tho the hospital. I think she just wanted her own sling.
