Wow. So much has happened in such a few days. Where do I begin?
First, I am in total shock and awe that having applied for Social Security on August 1st, I found out today that I am approved! It isn�t in writing yet, but I will have a letter between now and December 19th.
Cool Beans. I thanked the lady for making this a happy holiday. I get my first check within the next week or so.
All I can say is that between that, my pension, and Terry�s SS and pension, we are going to be okay. Whew!
Next, I was called a few days ago to see if I would be interested in being part of a trial study. If you are interested in the details, you can read about it HERE
It is a blind test. That means I have a 50/50 chance of receiving the actual devices. The other good news is that if I am in the control group that doesn�t get them, I will get them at the end of the trial. There are risks involved, of course, but the good that these may do far outweigh the risks. Even if they don�t work for me, my participation will give them more information anyway.
This following video came be me by way of an email. I have no clue if all the facts are true or not, but I have a gut feeling that they may be. It is amazing the thinking that had to go into this either way.
