Rain, rain go away and STAY GONE! I normally love a rainy day but I planned on cleaning my car today. Oh well, it will be just as dirty next weekend. Hey, guess what I missed? My (drumroll, please) rat-a-tat-a-tat My ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON DIARYLAND!!! applause, applause I would like to thank the Academy..... oh, nevermind. Yup one year ago last Monday, April 22nd. Ok, let's recap all that has happened on here since then:
1) My daughter got married. 2) I got a dog. 3) My cat ran away. 4) I got rid of a dog. 5) My cat came back. 6) The horrific tragedy of September 11th 7) I started a ring for us "old-timers" 8) My sister moved back from Arizona (happy, happy) 9) Changed my layout (a zillion times) 10) increased my favorite diaries from 1 to 44 (and I need to add afew more) 11) Had my boobs off. 12) started the Quest 13) Got a bunch of tube tops! (thank you again, everyone) 14) Made a friend that is now also a telephone buddy. 12) Made a lot of friends.
I can not begin to express how much I am glad I found this place. I have so many diaryfriends now I can't imagine not coming in here every day. I love hearing about ibepiglet's wedding plans, Six-weasels stories, roadies bragging on his son (that's what parents do, you know) and his gardening stories. I enjoy reading all of you. And I look forward to reading more.
