Happy Halloween!! Happy Halloween!!!
My favorite holliday of the year!! I was fast and furious sewing a costume last night and it did't turn out right so I threw it in the trash. I then proceeded to sit and think of anything else I could do with what I had around the house. I finally hit on it. I took a pair of red shoulderpads from a jacket I seldom wear. I grabbed my hubby's yellow plastic poncho (which he can't use because it gets caught up in his wheels.) I then went on to cut a half face mask from cardboard. This I covered with yellow cloth and Elmer's glue. Brother Pete had given us some of the biggest paper bags I have ever seen in my life. I cut that down to half size. Wha-La!A Box of Quackers!! Cute? Yup! Original? Yup! The TV is Mine, sayeth the Duck!! Pictures WILL appear tomorrow. All I have left to do is to go to the store and find a yellow feather duster. That should be easy. I need to put SOME feathers on it and use the rest as my tail. Do I hear an "Awwww". I have to go into work at 9:30 this morning. The Union Labor Rep is going to go over our contract. No hurry. It expired September 30th! The boss Lady is good though. Except for our raises, all stays the same until it's signed. We have a three year contract. It only opens yearly for wage negotiations. It's going to be a little tricky this year. While they have been shaving a few things back the last contract, we are asking for a couple of new things this year. I hope we get them. We'll see. Well, I must bid you fairwell and get my butt in gear. I have an hour to shower, dress and get there and Brother Pete hasn't dropped off my car yet. Brother's are like that. Ya, they are. Later,
