I've joined a ring. Want to know why? I have been invited to join a new diaryring. I did. I am now sporting the following on my rings page:  I am now an official proud member of the honorarysts diaryring. This is a diaryring founded by msleslie. She is a warm loving lady. She is courageous, compassionate, witty, kind and caring. Oh ya, she is also a transgendered transexual.
I don't mean to say that last line as flipantly as it comes out. It is just that I know her as a woman because that is who she is. I call her a friend. I do this because I have read every entry she has posted. I have laughed with her, cried with her and have been blown away by her courage. I respect and admire her. When I first saw her diary (and I can't even remember how I came upon it) I was at first curious. I didn't have a clue what she was talking about, nor did I imagine I had anything in common with her. Go figure. I have more in common with her than I ever imagined. I started reading from her first entry and I was fascinated by what I was reading. I eventually started to exchange e-mails with her and yesterday we spoke on the phone. A very wise woman she is. She followed her dream and through many months of various treatments, counseling sessions and then the ultimate surgery, she is finally where she should have been all along. She is a normal, everday woman with all its ups and downs. She is still growing within herself, but aren't we all?
If you choose to read her diary, and I hope you do, please start at the beginning. Get to know her as I have. You won't be sorry. She is truly remarkable. I wish her health, happiness and serenity. I am priviledged to call her a friend. ******************************
I didn't get to the casino yesterday. What else is new? I shoveled the ramp so Terry could get out but before We were ready to go, it started raining. I knew that is would probably get colder and by the time we came home the ramp and driveway would be a sheet of ice, so we stayed home. If I want to collect my $100.00 it has to be today! It is now 8:40. Terry just got up, so we are going to shoot for 11:00. It is suppoes to stay in the upper 40s today, so let it rain. ****************************** And on a final note, we rented a movie for yesterday. It is called "Changing Lanes" If you want suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat with no blood, guts or gore, by all means WATCH IT! It was fantastic! We also rented "Crossing Guard" That was slow in the beginning, but Wow, did it get good! That is an older movie but I saw that it starred Jack Nicholson so I figured it couldn't be too bad. It didn't disappoint us. Well I'm off to the showers, so I'll catch ya all later. I am sure to post later today that I won a ton of money. Ya sure, Dorothy, dream on. Later,
