I didn't lose. No, I didn't win the $1,000. But I did win the $200.00 and I am happy. I am also happy that Golfwidow won her weekly and is in the running for the grand prize. I hope she gets it. And, I am happy that poolagirl won $200.00. Not too shabby for my circle of friends. Not too shabby at all. I feel good that Jim and jenniam got runnerup/honarable mention.
It was fun.

My computer was delivered today! It is awesome! Big too. I plan on getting all my chores done before Saturday so I can play with it all day. Until then, it is staying in the box. I have to download everything before I shut this one off and that itself will take awhile. I'm also waiting for my "air" mouse from woot. I ordered it last week. I am hoping it will be here by Saturday. I was going to use the new keyboard that comes with it, but my new puter has a really kickass keyboard. lots of buttons that I will use.

I also have a date Saturday. With my husband. We are having a Harry Potter Day. My new DVD will be here by then and I will pop some popcorn, pour some Pepsi and we will watch the last one that came out and then the new one. We always watch the last one first because we have to jog our memories. It comes with old age, I guess.
I haven't mentioned the Oscars, mainly because I didn't watch them. I haven't seen most of the movies, so I really had no desire to watch. And if I never saw Melissa or Joan Rivers on my TV again, it would be OK by me. But nevertheless, I am glad that "Crash" won. I thought the movie was excellant. I know there was an awful lot of horrible language in it, but that is unfortunately the way a lot of people talk these days. When you see two men fighting in the street, you won't be hearing words like, "Darn!" or "Golly Gee", I assure you. The movie was thought provoking, realistic and sadly a true statement of our times. I was saddened by some of my own reactions to some of the scenes. I didn't realize how quick I am to judge sometimes myself, and I am ashamed to admit that. I will try to be better.
Either you loved the movie or you hated it. I loved it. It taught me something.
I haven't seen "Brokeback Mountain" yet, but I hope to soon.
